There is a new term that people may have heard of, but may not have a concrete idea of what its all about. The thing I'm talking about is Web 2.0. It is a concept that is being considered by website owners from the time they build their site to the time they market their services or products. This concept is basically new, that website owners are determined to use it for their websites since it will help make their websites be more interesting.
This concept is still actually confusing to a lot of people, even to experts and some Internet savvy individuals, because they still cannot find a clear cut explanation on what the whole concept really is about. To give you an idea as to what it is and where it all started, the term Web 2.0 was made popular during the O'Reilly Media Web 2.0 conference way back in 2004. It may sound like a term that may be an upgrade of the definition of the World Wide Web, but it actually is just a term to describe the way web developers and end-users use the web. It basically involves the evolution of several web applications and the development of several communities in the web that has something to do with promoting websites, like social networking, blogging, forums, wikis, etc.
Below are the five things that you need to know, to understand this new development in the Web:
A broadband connection is a basic requirement to appreciate the web. With the development of video sites like YouTube, where product promotions are constantly done through videos, it would be impossible to view videos properly without a broadband connection. Businesses have also started using online spreadsheets to keep track of their data and for easy communication with their employees and such spreadsheets would take too long or won't even load without broadband connection.
It is a connection between the Internet marketer and the consumer. It focuses on the convenience of both the buyer and the seller where transactions are made over the Internet.
It allows people to manipulate with data online. Just when you thought that adding, editing and deleting data could only be possibly done in your desktop, the AJAX revolution has made this revolutionary interface possible.
This revolutionary development has made it possible to do stuffs on the Web which could not be possible without the Internet, things which we never imagined would be possible not so long ago.
Of course the most popular and widely understood aspect of this development in the web, are stuffs like social bookmarking, keywords, tag clouds, wikis, and blogging. This development in the web now focuses on catering to all the needs of people more than the need of the Internet marketer.
The essential feature of Web 2.0 are it's being user friendly, interactive, dynamic content, and freedom which is beneficial to the end user.

Google loves fresh and unique content, and all of these can be found through google search based on the tags that you used for your articles.
