In The Second Journey, Joan Anderson presents a refreshing way for a woman to live a life the way she chooses, instead of the way society dictates. She shares insight and views on her own life while instilling inspiration to the reader.
The story takes the reader on a journey with Joan as she navigates the turbulent changes in her life and attempts to find herself. Filled with humor, Joan manages to inspire, reassure, and empower a person with the knowledge that a woman can come of age in the middle of life. It provides an interesting view of how a person can step outside their norm and create their own destiny.
My opinion
I found this book to be both educational and uplifting. As a result of my reading, I am using some of the tools (included in the back of the book) to help me in my onw journey. If you are one of those people with too much on your plate and a feeling of being overwhelmed, I highly recommend this book.

Frugal Mom, thank you. It is a very interesting book. I may go back and edit this to include an excerpt of some of the "tools". Thanks for coming by.
Marsha, that happens often. We get stuck with so many responsibilites and "have to" things. I hope your plate clears up soon.
