Two upcoming electronic recycling events
The EarthWorks Expo, June 21-22 at the Denver Merchandise Mart, will be the site of another even, handled by G&S Mountain Recycling of Longmont. The Expo admission will be $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for youths, and will include other educational events and exhibits. Discount tickets are available through Sunday at the Earthworks website, and those wishing to volunteer for the event may receive free admission.
On June 28, 2008, from 10 am to 2 pm, there will be an electronics collection booth in front of the Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria campus. A $5 fee will be collected for recycling large items, but small items will be recycled at no charge. Comcast and the City of Denver are combining to sponsor this event.

What I really hate is telling customers, it will be more expensive to fix this than replace it. I have to tell them the truth and let them choose, but it adds to the problem of decommissioned parts in junk piles.
