the sky is filled with so many visible objects,
many can be seen with the naked eye,
others require binoculars or a telescope,
with help the heavens open up to a
kaleidoscopic display filled with wonder
seeing is sometimes hindered by weather,
location, air pollution, atmospheric conditions
or your abilities and familiarity with the
nighttime sky. So many planets, stars,
nebulae, clusters, dust clouds, ad infinitum
that the heavens and sky are fascinating.
I have some trouble with a new telescope,
seeing these manifest beauties. Poor eyesight,
a tendency to shake, inexperience as well as
the march of time and movement of the sky
present me with an idea of our variable heavens.
