My garden pictures

Here are pictures of the flowers in my backyard and my pond! This is lamium on the side of the house.

Rainbow chameleon. I also have this in my pond.

 This is one of my geraniums...

 

 One of my clematis. I have 4 different ones. They're not all blooming yet. This one is working on covering an archway into the back yard. ( And part of the chain link fence next to the archway, too! lol)

 Another clematis...

 One of my columbine.

 A shot from my pond. There's not alot blooming there yet. It'll take off now that it's hot. I see a bloom from one of the lilies is on its way to the surface now.

I use lamium like crazy in my shade garden and LOVE that it is one of those rare perennials that blooms all summer.

I've never seen this lamium before. Would you by any chance remember the zones it is hardy in? Maybe it hasn't come into our area yet, or it just doesn't work in our heat. I don't know. What do you know about it?

Lynne, I'm in zone 6, Northern New Jersey. That's all I really know. Try googling it, maybe, to see if it's good for your zone?

I don't have lamiums in my garden... I love the flowers on yours, I might have to check our nurseries for some to include in my gardens.

I do have some of the Rainbow Chamelion plants just ouside my dining room window. Those things are hard to kill, as ground covers they spread pretty fast too.

Beautiful start... Can't wait to see what else will be blooming for you later in the season!

That lamium has brought me more smiles and inspired me to move some of my lamium around a bit. It spreads so easily and I can pull up what I don't like :)

I too, love lamium. It's such an unobtrusive ground cover. However, that chameleon plant is another matter! LOL!

Your garden is amazing. I love all your pictures and wow you have a pond too. One day, hopefully sooner than later, I hope to have a house that I can do something like that with. I'd have Roses of all different colors all along my dream fence. and frogs in my dream pond, and I am making my self jealous of my own dream yard just describing it. lol
