Troma on Netflix!

If you like deliberately cheesy and bad horror and science fiction movies, then chances are you have seen a Troma movie. This is the company that put out classics like The Toxic Avenger. Netflix recently put several Troma movies for Instant Viewing on their site, and I've managed to watch a couple of them. They are bad, and I mean REALLY bad, but still kind of fun in a way. They remind me a lot of the movies my friends and I used to make in our back yards in high school.

The first thing I watched on there was Surf Nazis Must Die, and it was so bad that it wasn't good. I found it boring and not that funny. However, I also saw Class of Nuk'em High and really liked it for all its campy goodness.

If you have a Netflix subscription, check them out!

Excellent! I sure miss USA's 'Up All Night' which used to play a lot of these, and also Sandra Bernhardt's 'Reel Wild Cinema.' I also remember Tromie the Mutant Squirrel (or something like that). And I think the Smithereens actually played in 'Class of Nuke 'em High.' What happened to all those great old "horror showcase" and B-movie shows? Thanks for the recommendation!

I don't use Netflix, so I won't be checking these out. Any chance they're worse than "Troll 2"? I got that one as a bonus CD with another title and it's REALLY bad, complete with VERY tacky costumes and props that looked like elementary school kids made them. A high-school cinematic production would probably be better.
