Whenever little brother goes down in the afternoon for nap time, I always try to spend a little one on one time with my daughter. I stop the housework, I stop the laundry, I try to stop my mind that is always on automatic pilot of what needs to be on the grocery list, or what needs to be packed in the diaper bag. Today we just took a trip to the back yard to play on the swing set. It provided an hour of entertainment for her. I think the most important thing was just getting to spend time with Mom. She did alot of tricks for me today to show off for the camera.
Here she is climbing on the swingset and saying, "Look at me Mommy." I was looking and I was taking alot of pictures too.

She wanted me to watch her climb UP the slide!

And she wanted me to watch her go DOWN the slide.
I watched her do both of those things (about a hundred times!) SIGH!! She then wanted to show me different tricks she could do on her swing! If you look to the far right in this next photo, you can see my husbands tomato garden starting to take off. They are really getting tall. I can't wait for homegrown fresh sliced tomatoes!

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our time spent together outside today. This was a photo I got of her in the yard as she passed by. I really liked this one. Her beautiful and bright personality just stands out in this photo.

Oh, here we go, one more trick for Mommy. Now I was saying, "Hang on Maddie."
