This is a joke my mom always tells when confronted with picky eaters, most of whom don't get it. :P

A patron at a restaurant couldn't decide what he wanted to eat, so he asked the waiter, "What is today's special?"
The waiter said the name of the dish, but the patron didn't know what the name meant, so he asked, "What's is that?"
The waiter replied that the dish was a lentil soup made with beef broth, vegetables, and diced cow's tongue.
"Tongue?" the patron replied, shocked. "You want me to eat a cow's tongue? I'm not eating anything that's been in a cow's mouth! That's disgusting!"
Quickly looking over the menu, the outraged patron finally told the waiter, "I'll have ham and eggs instead!"
