A Challenge to Myself

I am challenging myself to either read The Fellowship of the Ring or The Mysts of Avalon.

I have a whole bookshelve full of books I have not read.

I have the whole Lord of The Rings trilogy to read.

So I am going to make a list to read them in a particular order.

My Goal is to read fifty books this summer.

I would also like recomandations.

You might also enjoy the Inheritance Series... Eregon,Eldest and soon to come Brisinger.

Madeliene L'Engle books are also good if you like fantasy, si/fi.

There is also the Dark is Rising Series which is what the movie The Seeker is based on. They are decent, but not as good as good old C.S. Lewis. You might want to try his space trilogy. So good!

And lastly, The Dragonquest series: Dragonspell, Dragonquest, Dragonknight and Dragonfire.

My mom loved the Mists of Avalon, and read it over a week period(considering how thick the book its, thats pretty good in my opinion).

I've read the Lord of the Rings trilogy, you'll definitely love those. Karen(above) also looks like she has some great recommendations, I've heard good things about the Dragonquest series, but never read it myself.

Don't forget "the Hobbit," the "Samarillion" and everything written by J.R.R. and his son Christopher Tolkien! BTW you are terribly ambitious, aren't you?
