It is now a dangerous situation in my area as the Corps of Engineers Reservoir is full and water is now coursing over the spillway and racing downstream uncontrolled. This is only the 2nd time in the 50 years since this dam was built that water has gone over the spillway, the last being in 1993 when it tore our many feet of soil and rock and unearthed a large fossil bed now known as the Devonian Gorge.
