Here is an opportunity to express what you like to see in an article. What draws you to read an article on Gather? Do you favor news items, food recipes, romance, poetry...? What do you like to read here?
How do you think others can draw people in to read their articles; what works for you, a funny title, a great opening line, photos? Of course, this week triple points encourage us all, but some pointers might help the writers here to get readers.

how I get people over to read my un-game stuff.....I publish and they come...
I like news and fact articles (as, for example, those on clean energy and global warming).
I dislike rants against famous people and politicians and hate rants against victims.
Now that I think of it I don't like rants in general though I can sympathise with rants against injustice.
I look forward to reading anything by a handful of people in that they always interest me. I specifically enjoy short stories, poetry and political topics.
Additionally, an article sterile of emotion will, usually, have a much more limited "draw".
