Agree with Spencer!
Looks to me like he's just strapped his boots on and ready for war!
Obama/Clinton 08
I hope he stays to the high ground, and does not beat up on McCain very much. McCain is a good man but too ambitious too late in life and the times have passed him by.
"All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best."
Roughly speaking; the youth of America must turn out en masse .
I'm considering all the first time voters that the democratic party registered this primary season, if they were to all show up in November, two things would happen;
1. We'd have a democrat back in the Whitehouse.
2. Everyone in D.C. would be scared spitless.
This country needs to follow through on this youth movement,
without it nothing will change.
Fred, the media is finally acknowledging this as a movement, rather than a campaign. Even the media is now using the term GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT. I do believe this generation intends to finish what our generation started. I live in a college town, and I can tell you, first hand, these kids are Fired Up and Ready to Go.
Lionel, you are joking right, the Clinton machine was very powerful, Obama only made them look like the keystone cops. The Bush Presidency has made the Republicans look worse than the keystone cops and more like the three stooges.

|political equivalent of the Keystone cops before, he is up against a powerful party machine with an American hero as their candidate. Bob Barr in 2008

I disagree with you about "hard facts". I do not think Barak Obama has presented any more or any less "hard facts" than any other candidate in this race. He has expressed what goals he would try to achieve if elected, as did all the other candidates. He did not explain in intense detail how he would go about accomplishing these goals. Neither did any of the other candidates. There are too many unknows to expect ANY candidate to provide a detailed description of how they would go about accomplishing any of their goals. For any candidate, if he has a friendly Congress, he will accomplish more of his goals. If he has a hostile Congress, then he will accomplish less.
We as voters, have to look at what goals the candidates proposes. Then we must decide which candidates proposed set of goals best fit into the goals we would like accomplished. We must prioritize oue own goals, and compare those priorities to the candidates priority. Lastly, we must consider whether the candidate is honest and truly means what he says, or is only saying it to get elected, having a different agenda in mind, once elected. Based on all of those criteria, we will have to weigh all of our various opinions, and make some tradeoffs, because no candidate is ever 100% what we want, but we should all vote, and we should all vote not only what is best for ourselves, but also vote what we thing is overall best for our country.
Lionel LaVergne
You are indicating that just because a particular candidate is an American hero, does not in and of itself mean he meets all the criteria as the best man for President, as you indicate: "Bob Barr in 2008" Good for you Lionel!
Charles Temm JR
Sorry Charles, but I am of the opinion that no other candidate provided any more details either.
Stephanie L.,
I agree Stephanie, but I certainly hope he does not resort to smear campaigning, or allow his 527's to smear either. And if he can't stop a 527 as requested, I would hope he issues a statement indicating that he does not approve of it, as did John McCain. Both John McCain and Barack Obama have indicated they do not want smear campaigning, hopefully both will keep their word, and hopefully, both will make an HONEST effort to keep their 527s in line as well.
Patty H.
Good for you Patty, sounds exactly like my feeling toward George W Bush!

Actually, since I am originally being from Chicago, in that picture I would say he looks like a gangster. Oh boy, I can see the wingnuts jumping on this one already!
