We had seen something that looked like a egg and a tiny black on it. So tiny we didn't know WHAT it was... well whatever that was I don't know, but what I do know is that we have a new baby in the house!
Yes! He (or she) must be all of a day old if that. Tiny, sweet little one.

Here it is against a ruler for sizing! When I said it was tiny, I wasn't kidding, was I?

Here's the newborn again!

We could barely see it on the plant and you have to be so careful turning those leaves around so as not to smoosh them if they are hiding under them or in a fold.
Then we checked on the older sibling (who is still on that same leaf, though it did move to another leaf briefly last night)
We have growth! AND a lot more leaf eaten, lol. They sure are hungry caterpillars!
Here's the eaten leaf on the 9th when we brough them home! If you look closely you can see the egg on it.

Here it is today! LOL A lot more eaten!

Here's the older sibling against the ruler.

A closer look at measuring the older caterpillar.

Wow.. how exciting. TWO babies. :D I'll update you all as they continue to grow.
