Everyone loves watching movies. Whether you like horror, comedy, action, or romance, you can't go wrong with an Online Movie Rental service. You are in control of what you get, it's cheaper and easier than having to go back and forth between your home and the video stores. Think of all the gas money you can save by not having to leave the house every time you want to see a movie. If you love watching movies, but hate taking the time and money to get them, you should definitely consider Online Movie Rentals.
Probably the most two popular Online Movie Rental companies are Netflix and Blockbuster Online. They offer similar services and appear to be the same when you visit their sites. But there are some differences in these services you should be aware of. You don't want to end up joining the wrong company.
In my experience with Online Movie Rentals, there is only one company that has kept my satisfaction. Netflix. I've only had 1 damaged DVD that I had to return, and I have been with them for months. And they sent me another DVD right after I reported the damage, they did not wait for me to send it back. Their movies arrive on time, and for the most part, in great condition. Their site is really fun and easy to follow, and they have a great selection of movies. They make it really easy for you to find movies that you will enjoy. I have yet to receive a movie I did not like based on their suggestions.
I also tried Blockbuster Online, and I was not happy with them at all. The only time they ever really helped me was after I canceled my account. The first DVDs I got from them skipped around a lot, it was really annoying to have to sit there and have your screen freeze on a distorted frame. In one of my first orders they also sent me the wrong DVD, and I had to wait for the right one until I sent back their mistake.
I can understand how DVDs can get damaged, and it is not the companies fault. Some of their other members may be careless with the products. But I think there are some limits to how many damaged DVDs there should be. The damaged DVD I received from Netflix was months after I joined, and it has only happened once. But with Blockbuster out of the first four movies I received, two were damaged and one was the wrong DVD.
I was also happier with the Netflix payment plans. They are cheaper, and you get a lot more out of your money. They offer great benefits and costumer service for a very reasonable price. I was overwhelmed when I was trying to view and change my Blockbuster Online plan, but with Netflix it was easy!
