For Easter, the Easter Bunny brought the kids each a camping set. The set came with a backpack, sleeping bag, flashlight, water bottle and a tent. The tents have been set up in our living room since Easter... the kids won't let me move them downstairs! They play in them all the time and on certain nights even get to camp out in them.
Last night was a camp out night. And since school is out, I'm sure they will be camping out in the living room more often throughout the summer.

When we had all 4 kids at home, a couple years ago, we actually put 4 tents up in the living room. We moved everything out and up went the tents. We made camping type foods and even turned out the lights and used lanterns and flashlights.
Kids LOVE it.
