The Jefferson Avenue Footbridge is a bridge that stretches 562 feet and is designated specifically for pedestrians. The bridge is more than 100 years old and crosses 13 different railroad tracks. Located in Springfield, MO (where I am hanging out for the week!)
Take a walk with me.......

We start up the south end of the bridge...

It is a long way across!!

This is one of my favorite shots!

Here we have a coal train under the bridge... you can almost reach out and touch it!

We are looking west here.

And looking east here... the coal train stretches as far as we can see.

Almost half way across!

Looking up! If you look closely to the left of the bridge you can see the moon (it's that white dot!)

Looking up! I loved the way the white looked against the pure blue sky!

We made it across and now we're looking at the bridge from the north end.

Another shot of the bridge, showing the trains underneath... this was taken at the north end.

Starting back across from the north end.

Another view from the north end of the bridge looking to the southwest across the train tracks.

The sign at the bottom of the south end of the bridge.
I hope you enjoyed your walk with me!!!
