1st grade was a year to remember --- by my son Chandler

I posted this earlier today and now can't find it on my page anywhere, so here goes again.

My son just finished 1st grade and he brought home a cute little journal that he made the last week of school! It's a "fill in the blanks" journal, so the underlined words are those that he filled in.   It was so cute that I thought i would share it with you. 

1st grade was a year to remember...

My name is Chandler and I just finished the 1st grade.

I am leaving the first grade a little wiser.

My teacher's name was Mrs. A

My principal's name was Mr. D

My school was special.

I was in room 5.

I sat next to my friends.

I started 1st grade on September 4th and graduated on June 5th.

Next year I will be in the 2nd grade.

My favorite friend in my room was Sam.

My favorite party was Harvest Festival.

My favorite subject in school was P.E.

My favorite center was computer.

My favorite game was fun brain.

My favorite field trip was the one to the pumpkin patch.

My favorite guest speaker was Smoky the bear.

My favorite art project was for Father's Day.

My favorite cooking experience was pizza.
