Heat index of 110 degrees

That says it all, doesn't it? Here in New Jersey, the temperature (in our neighborhood, according to our outdoor thermometer) broke 100 degrees earlier, and according to the news on TV, the heat index has been between 100 and 110 degrees.

Pardon me while I drink a very large amount of water and try to cool down again.

Its 107 here(Richmond,Va) and the thermometer is in the shade. I was standing outside earlier while on the phone, and the mercury was actively rising while I was standing there.

It's in the high 90's here in MA today. I've been drinking a lot too.
Right now, it's 93 here with a heat index of 95. We have a light breeze and it's cloudy. Maybe it will rain some.

It has been unusually cool here it hit 90 yesterday but is back down to 75 today and windy. I am in the middle of a desert you would think the heat would be here.

One page said 66 and one page said 70, anyway it's raining and the breeze is cooler, I can hear thunder in the distance and I wonder which way it's going. Severe storm watch till 6 something anyway.

We've got hot and humid, but this is South Carolina so we figure that's what we signed on for! :-) YES, drink lots of water. The absolute best thing you can do.

I'm here in upper Iowa and we had that heat last week, which quickly brought flooding this week. I think I would rather have stuck with the heat!
