April 13, 2007 I didn't pay any money for Firefox, or I.E., How can something be free?

They don't have any ads. I just see Gather ads. How do they do it? How can a corporation work by giving out all its product for free - and not have advertising? Does the government provide this? My I.E. came with the computer so I don't know how that works, either.

Mozilla Firefox, is created by the Mozilla Foundation. You can donate for tax deductions and they have a store with some cool gear....and Mozilla is open source code.
