Our new pup

We got our puppy yesterday evening. He is so cute, looks like a teddybear. We are so excited, we have been waiting since he was born for him. Will post pictures today or tomorrow of him. So far he is getting along with our other animals great, we have a cat and a weiny dog. The only thing when we picked him up was that he was covered in ticks and we could not find any products to use on him since he is so young...we picked all of them off and gave him a bath, havent seen any since but does anyone know of something that we could use on him, that will not hurt him...he is only 6 weeks old

So sad that he has all those ticks.They should have something to bath him in for puppies at the pet store.

hes a rottweiler and doing good with potty training...he starts whining and i take him outside...really surprised because the people that had him, kept him outside with all the other dogs.

Go to wal-mart and in the pet area go to the dog products,look for BREWER'S YEAST WITH GARLIC PILLS they cost less than 3.00 for a bottle of 250.They are a supplement and they will not hurt the pup.I crushed up 6 of them to share between 8 kittens that were 5 weeks old.You only use 1 per 10 lbs of body weight a day so they last a long time and the ticks and fleas will leave the pet children along.

I only know that any kind of oil, machine oil will remove them, just a drop on the tick, makes them heat up and they back out, not leaving the head behind. Good luck!

Good luck with your new puppy. Puppys are all so cute. But then they grow in to big lazy dogs
