I have been a MyPoints member since 1997, and they are indeed one of the worthy points programs out there. But from time to time, they upset me.
I have been holding back on applying for the MyPoints credit card, since I don't really need another card.
In May, they had a special promotion where I could get 5,000 bonus points (instead of the usual 3,000) if I get and use the credit card. It was high enough an incentive so I applied and used the card.
However, 2 weeks ago, my account was only credited 3,000 instead of 5,000 points. I disputed the discrepancy, but they simply said the number of bonus points was tracked by the link I clicked, and blamed me for clicking on the wrong link. And that was that.
I KNOW I clicked on the correct promotional link. Ugh.

I've thought about applying for the MyPoints credit card, but I already have more credit cards than I need.
Incidentally, I didn't apply for the credit card, but I might still have the email invite, it that's any help.
No I lost the original email. I thought I had kept it (because I had other points crediting problems before, so I usually would keep the original offer emai. I was very puzzled after I searched my inbox and couldn't find it....). Otherwise I would definitely dispute.
I don't think I'd email them again. I will just cancel the card since I really don't need it anyway.
