Just Got the Gather Newsletter About the Triple Points Promotion

Yesterday evening, I just received the Gather newsletter in my email inbox about the Triple Points promotion. I wonder why Gather didn't send out the newsletter BEFORE the promotion.

I would have been so upset if I missed it over the weekend, since I can't really do much Gathering during the work week. Thanks for my Gather friends who posted articles about the promotion! That was how I learned about it.

How did you find out about the promotion? Did you read the original announcement article? Did you get the newsletter sooner? Did you just find out about it from someone else's posting?

I just got the e-mail today so I missed out on 3 days worth of triple points. Maybe they will extend it due to their oversight.

Selene, it was on the home page for gather well ahead of time, they ran ads for a couple of days with links to pam johnston's featured article about the triple points.

I saw that, before I ever saw any articles by anyone else.

I'm connected to Pam Johnston, so I got her initial post announcing the promotion the very first thing. (I think I was even the first to post a comment on her thread about it.)

I saw the notice on the home page before it started and read several posts from gather members about it on the 5th. I guess this was a case where logging in often paid off.

I didn't get a notice, at least that I paid attention to. I saw it on the Gather homepage a few days ago. Glad you still have a few days to get in on it.

Pam Johnson's article appeared on the Gather home page when I came to this site on June 5. I read the article before even logging in.

I just got it yesterday evening too and shook my head at the timing. I found out about it by reading someone's article that mentioned they had seen another article talking about it. So I followed the links and read Pam Johnson's article.

When I come here, I usually just go directly to posting the articles. I also don't log in (auto-login). I guess that's where I am missing out.
