Some of you know that I am totally burnt out on my secretarial job that I have been at for 20 years now. I have been actively looking for another job and have applied at this major company and have already had two previous interviews for two other jobs and have tested for these jobs. Well, I got a call today that they want to interview me for yet another position. YEAH !!
The last position that I interviewed for had 780 applicants and I was one of the top 40 to be considered. I received an email last week stating that I was not chosen but they want to talk to me for another job.
Well, I haven't had a new clothing item for about 5 years, I haven't had my haircut for over a year, I am not even sure if I remember how to apply makeup the proper way.
So........
I scheduled the interview for Monday mid morning.
This weekend, I am going out to find a nice new professional looking outfit and shoes and handbag all looking sweet....
I am getting a whole new haircut and probably going to cut off several inches and do something totally different,
I am going to a Dept. Store to a makeup counter and have my makeup done and have them show me how to put it on correctly.
I am thinking 3rd times the charm with the job search.
It is also Triple points week
AND
at church on sunday, the minister had some good words to say during his sermon and it sort of hit me with my job search so I took note and am putting it into action. I have a good feel about my upcoming makeover and job interview.
Ya'll keep me in your thoughts and prayers and if you don't do prayer....well....keep me in your best thoughts....I will take it all.

Enjoy the makeover! Have a good time getting in a little "me" time.
I am feeling good about this interview.
Rachel: I did take notice on how everyone was dressing from the last 2 interviews that I had there. I did notice it was about half and half with skirts and pants but almost everyone had on a jacket and heels. Now, I am plus size and I don't do skirts too well because I am only 5'4 and skirts always look weird on me but they are NOT out of the question. I do plan on a jacket though.
I got my makeover today.
I went to a salon that I had never been to but came highly recommended.
I put my trust in the stylist and told her about the interview, told her that I had not cut my hair in over a year because I had been wanting to get a perm and that just never happened.
I told her that I wanted my hair about 2 inches past my neck and she was like "that is like 10-13 inches !!" I said, Yep...that is what I want and I am sure.
she was like...If you really want me to cut that much, I haven't had someone that brave in a long time.
then she said "does your husband know you are going to cut off all this hair"
i said "my husband loves when I do this type thing"
i told her, If you are afraid to cut this off, I will do the big cut and you can proceed"
LOL
we both laughed about it because she I guess thought that I may regret it.
I LOVE MY NEW HAIRCUT !!!!!!!
I love it so much that I made an appointment with my NEW stylist !!! I love this girl.
she even waxed my eyebrows and i have never had that done ever.
I go shopping tomorrow for my new interview outfit
I look like a million bucks.
In fact, My hubby said af ew minutes ago ....Fake Yawn...I am ready for bed how bout you.. **wink wink**
But the makeover and new clothes can't hurt either.
Hope you did not leave any tags visible! ]]grin[[
I like to run through them all first on the 3000ers & read later. I'll try again.
