Taking A Wrong Turn into Adventure Part II (Photo Essay)

I just posted a photo essay about how my youngest son and I took a wrong turn only to find amazing pieces of South Florida history.

We found a beautiful old farm house, and lots of old machinery, but the biggest high point of our little adventure was when we found animals. I expected to find cows or horses, but below you will see that this was in fact a very fascinating place.

Wow! What a farm! You took some lovely pictures. And are those emus? the camel looking things animals... I forget what they are called... gorgeous! All the animals are just beautiful.. thanks for sharing.

I wonder you found the farm that transfer them big birds to that was shown briefly on animal planet. The farm I am talking about is a farm that took them in after being rescued. That is a really nice photo essay. It does make me want to go see it for myself.
