Kyleigh Will Be So Exhausted Today

Yesterday my 17-month-old daughter didn't take her mid-day nap until almost 6 PM! She finally woke up almost 9 PM. She had a light dinner and started playing again. Man, I was so tired! I fell asleep on the floor in the hallway around 12:30 AM while I was playing with her, and her daddy put her in bed around 1 AM. And guess what? She got up again at 2 AM! She finally went to bed around 2:30 AM or so.

I wonder when she will wake up this morning and how cranky she's going to be at the day care!

I remember those days. Sometimes it seems like they will never sleep again. Thank goodness it gets better the older they get. At least in some ways. Good luck today.

When toddlers start converting from two naps to one or from one to none, they really get their schedules (and yours) goofed up. Last evening I called my son and my little grandson was fussing because he missed his nap yesterday too! We've been having lots of T-storms and heavy humidity and just as the weather affects us, it bothers the little ones too! If you drink coffee or caffeine colas, today is the day to double up! LOL and Good luck!

Haha...all I can say is I've been there! I wont allow Destiny to nap after a certain time.I rather have her a little fussy and sleepy then wide awake and have her whole time frame thrown off. I got made at my mom for not listening to me when I told her that the one day.I get annoyed when someone calls and wakes her too because then she sometimes gets overly tired and is awake again.Some days she doesn't even take a nap anymore.She'll go all day from 7-730 and go till about 830-9 normally.One day she dozed for 15 minutes late in the day and didn't go to bed intil after 1230! I was in shock and exhausted myself.
