My favorite trail food has got to be hands down GORP (good old rasins and peanuts) I enjoy making my with peanut m&ms, cherios, and popcorn. It tates great and you can make at least two big bags with the ingredients.

I went on a three day horse back ride once on one of the trails. It was a blast. But that was so long ago, I couldn't even tell you which state we were in at the time. (It was a three month vacation with my mother at the wheel. We started in Florida and ended up in Main. We camped with a tent everywhere we went)
