Yard saleing at 96 in the shade

We had our neighborhood yard sale today. After weeks of decent weather,of course,we have to have our first heat wave of the season. Didn't do very well. One good thing came out of it though, my daughter's mentor is an elementary school reading teacher and I gave her 4 boxes of kid's books. She'll keep some for the school and then the rest will go to disadvantaged kids. I think I lost more in water weight out there sweating than I made in money!

We haven't had much hot weather these days. Must be nice! That was very nice of you to donate all of those books. :)

We spent our weekend in the heat too - in the sun watching soccer games. It was fun but HOT!

You'll have to re-open your sale when it cools down a bit!

We had our last yard sale of the year yesyerday Dec 13...and even in Florida, we froze our tushes off. I'm not sure which is worse, the 100 degrees we have in the summer or the 40s (and windy) we had yesterday?
