We broke a record today:-(

Well, Richmond, VA officially recorded over 100 degrees today - a record for this date!!!

This picture is of my husband's indoor/outdoor thermometer - the time and date are the top two numbers.

The temperature in the house is third from the top--please note, we've had the A/C set on 78--yes--78 all day!!!! It has not stopped running yet!

The sun will be setting soon and the temperature just DROPPED to 99.9 degrees.  I guess if I had to pick, I'd rather be hot than flooded out.

 We're praying for the poor folks in the Midwest who are under so much water.

We hit 95 today in Philly. it's supposed to be 100 on Monday. Our A/C has FINALLY taken a break now that the sun's going down. :-(

wow, that is hot. I am not sure what the temp got to today here in Florida, but itwas hot, as usual. I have friends up near Chicago, and they said it was 88 today.

I just heard on the news that the heat index was 115 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!

That heat must be miserable. We also broke a weather record. We had almost 5 inches of rain. My basement is drying out nicely, no serious damage.

We got hot here in Ohio too... I think our high was 97 though... my gauge went higher...

Hope the flooding has completely tappered off for the midwest.. Were getting thunderstorms as I write!!!
