Ah yes, it's definitely Summer.
Here we are, counting the days 'til the Summer solstice, watching the length of the days slowly increase by mere minutes, until the two weeks where the length of the days are essentially the same. Here we happily hope for the days be cloudy, just so they will reduce the enslaught of heat, that evil orb in the sky rains down upon us.
Ah, I ponder on running out to the store, only to think that noon time is too soon, and the house is still a comfy cool 88 degrees Farenheit. Yes, the hottest part of the day for us isn't noon as one might expect, but rather 4-7pm when the sun gets past the cover of our wonderful trees, and starts striking our house at an angle.
Ah such it is here in the South. At least I can look at the bright side. Our carbon footprint is smaller as we save the world by only using fans. We can rejoice in all the money we are saving in our electric bill, just so we know we will have money for gas.
C'est la vie.
