What was your favorite 80's TV show?

I was born in 1976, so you might say I 'grew up' in the 80's. A big part of this time was watching some very famous TV shows. I remember loving shows like The A-Team and Sledge Hammer, as well as Who's the Boss and Growing Pains.

Now that most of these shows are available again to see on DVD, have you ever gone back to watch any of them? I did get to see the first season of Sledge Hammer again and it was just as crazy and funny as I remember. However, I recently watched an episode of Perfect Strangers and didn't think it was as funny as I used to.

So what were your favorites?

I loved the TGIF shows on ABC. Married with Children was another favorite.

Some good choices above. I don't have one because I was working 12 to 14 hours a day building my business. Now and then I would sneak in a look. Moonlighting was funny.

It's hard for me to remember what was on in the 80s. Cosby was a good one. Wasn't that the 80s? I used to enjoy Miami Vice and Love Boat, two shows I thought of as making up for dateless weekends. I can't remember any others. Wait, what about Magnum? He used to wear the Detroit Tigers baseball cap.

When I think of the '80's, I am reminded of the opulence of that time. I really enjoyed watching shows like Dallas and Knots Landing and Falcon Crest. It was the 'Me' decade and television shows reflected that.
