Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman from the TV show, was out paddling in a river when she discovered a body floating on top of the water. Talk about nasty!
Ever see her USO bit years ago? "50 ways to leave your lover" She was dressed in red satin I think, with a feather boa, and she stepped off this helicopter onto a carrier deck, singing (rather, chanting) that song. A row of Marines was lined up, as she passed each one (slip out the back Jack, don't be coy, Roy, get a new plan Stan,etc) each did an about face so they were now facing the camera- and their name tag matched the name in the song! So damn cool!
A haggard and distraught looking Ms Carter had some advice for other canoeists, "Don't ever, ever, ever poke at a floating body with your canoe paddle."
