HELP ME!!!

Oh, my!!! My son turned 8 on Tuesday and tonight we let him have one of his friend's stay overnight. Their first overnight...

Well, since I have picked these two devils up from school it has been CRAZY... They are wound so tight!! My husband said he was checking into a hotel after we had been home about 1/2 hour if that gives you a hint.

They were outside running around having water balloon fights, swimming in the neighbors pool, and causing general mayhem throughout the neighborhood.

Now we are in the midst of a huge summer thunderstorm so they are in the house with me.. They are actually playing WII and we are getting ready to go the show to see Kung Fu Panda.

I am fully prepared to be spoken to by an usher about their behavior!!

Good luck, but im with Karen here. My nephew is always a handful, he does not like when I take him with the boys and me places, because they all get a pep talk before we get out of the car and go inside. My boys are normally really good, by Xaiver (my 4 y/o) likes to follow Trevor and try and do the things he does. But the pep talk normally works pretty good with all of them.

talk to the other parents and seperate the kids for awhile. Was your boy like this before that?

We only have our grandkids to worry about when they spend the night. The last time it was 3 of them together. That was.....work.

I have always found that my children's behavior offended me more than other people. It's hard to step back sometimes and think of how you would feel about it if they weren't yours. Sometimes it's just irritating when kids act like kids.
Enjoy it. They grow up far too fast.

Tara, oh no. They are just so excited to be spending the night. I am used to having one pretty quiet boy and now they have multiplied. Seems like there are way more than two.

Oh wow.. 8 years old.. Id threaten to ground him and no more sleep overs if they do not behave.. you can always threaten to take the friend home if it getrs too bad.. I guess if they push you then he deserves it :)

Good luck though! My daughter is 8 and she can get pretty wild too!
