What? You thought he'd done enough work today already?
Especially when you consider that all of this is getting done before he leaves for work at his store?
I thought so, actually. But he decided that he should go down to the water and move the boat, figure out what we're going to do about dockage and so on ....
Given the neighbour's crap ~survey~ .... we have got a few problems to work out down there.

For starters, according to them, our marine track is partly on their property. That will be a total bitch to move. And since the boat is sitting ON the marine track, it will have to be put in first, I think.
(I don't think I have any pictures of the boat not taken at sunset! This one is from a few days ago)

And once we move THAT over, then we'll have to also move the entire dock over - but because we leave a buffer zone at water's edge (unlike most of our citiot neighbours) there is quite a bit of built up rocks and so on to deal with.

It wouldn't be SO bad, but we tend to have a shortage of helpers to actually do the work. My kids - especially Tamara - is always willing - but she's a 3 hour drive away - and doesn't drive or have a car - so it's a bit of a pain.

I try to help .... but mostly he won't let me any more. He MIGHT have this year...but then I started doing the fall down go boom thing again this week *sigh* He fired my arse ....sent me up to run his bath when I tried to help today.

ANYWAY.... he did move the tin boat off of the neighbour's so-called property

... the docks and stuff will have to wait for help. 2 legged help, as opposed to the 4-legged floppy eared sort that was all he had available this morning.
