11. My father gives me a Rio Samba rose bush every year on my birthday since I was born. At the moment, they are all in his backyard until I build my house, then I will have them in my backyard.
12. I was born in Stavanger, Norway while my parents were teaching in an American school there. My mom taught art and French, and my dad taught all the sciences.
13. I have broken at least a dozen screen doors from walking through them over the years. The apartment I am in had a screen door when we moved it, I took it down the first day so I wouldn't walk through it.
14. I'm deathly afraid of spiders and snakes. Both make me so scared that I freeze and can't move.
15. My family has only had Siamese cats, we've had other pets, but as far as cats are concerned, only Siamese.
16. There is one exception to this, they got a stray cat that was Himalayan(named Tallulah). The cat was one of the dumbest cats I have ever encountered, after we gave the cat to a family friend, they took it to the vet for a normal check up and found a huge tumor pushing on it's brain. We have only had Siamese cats since. That was in 1986.
17. Kokomo by The Beach Boys will put me in a good mood regardless of what else is going on.
18. My middle name is Alexis. I have no idea why.
19. Despite being very athletic, I am so uncoordinated I have broken my ankles 5 times each from tripping over stuff and falling.
20. I collect marbles that I get in various cities like most people get shot glasses. I have close to 500 shooter marbles and can name where each one came from.

The group: We Comment Back
I am also afraid of spiders and snakes but mainly the huge spiders, not the tiny ones. They don't bother me now that i live in the country. When I lived in the city, I would freeze when I saw a teeny tiny spider. I had to have people kill them because I couldn't sleep if I knew there was one on the wall. Now, I just say "oh another spider" but if it is bigger than a half dollar than my husband has to take it outside somehow. Snakes are another story. They just gross me out. We had one in the front yard one time and my husband and son just looked at it and didn't care. It was just a garden snake - not poisonous.
