Poor Scrooge... it must hurt to be so very dumb sometimes!
This morning, he and I were out on the deck taking pictures, writing my morning pages, and - in the case of Scrooge, barking at every noise the squirrels made on the roof.

See the string there? According to the surveyors the lawyer's kid next door hired, that's where our property ends. Our neighbour on the other side is also encroaching on what has always been considered ours. We are not amused - but also not willing to cough up the $$ to have our own survey done. I think we soon are going to be forced to do exactly that though.

Anyway - this article is not about annoying neighbours - it is about Scrooge being painfully stOOpid.
So he is outside with me on the deck and he hears Ross get up inside the house. OH NO!!! LOOK!!!
He is going out to get the paper!!!! And he is going without the Scrooge! NO!!!!!!!!! How could he!?

Much whining ensued...I had to get up and open the door for him - so that he could go through the house and go out the OTHER door to go with Ross. The fact that he was already outside and perfectly capable of running around and meeting up with him never crossed his mind.
Duh!

But he's cute, all the same.
I have a cat that will only come in the door he went out. If he went out the front door, he won't come in the back door and vice versa. He'll walk around the house in hail before he'll come in the wrong door.
I wonder if he thinks the house will not be the same if he doesn't do it right"?
Andrea - It will change - he knows he has to put the molecules back from where he took them from.
