Greetings Folks. The sky is a brilliant blue this early morning. It's a good day for travelling. We will be leaving Eureka, Nevada in about an hour. We should be in Santa Barbara by the time the sun sets. This month from May 7th until today has been a beautiful one, filled with lots of fun surprises. We acquired the Sandy T., our 1968 Ambassador Airstream, which will sit on our property patiently waiting for us to return. We went to the Eureka High School Rodeo at the Fairgrounds. My friends, Trish and Deon, have almost finished their Art Gallery. We were able to see many of our old friends and party with them. I was able to go Hog Pen Dump Shopping and turn junk into treasures. The husband worked on the breezeway roof and did some structural repair. Half of the metal sheeting is on and it looks great! All the trees here at Isabel are blossoming now. There are orange poppies everywhere. I like to keep that image in my head for a while. When we come back here in the Winter, everything will be white and covered in snow!
It is difficult to post images through this slow dial-up. I tried to post a video but that proved impossible. When I get back to Santa Barbara and to my big girl computer, I'll be able to gift you all with a few more images. By then, Isabel and Eureka will seem like a pleasant dream. Thank you for your patience. I will be commenting a bit more upon my return to Santa Barbara. I appreciate all the lovely comments on my other articles. I'm also grateful that you've read this bit of rambling! Have a wonderful day. Salud.
