From Dull to Diva

"You have the clothing, you have the makeup and you even have the shoe, so whats missing?"

Most of us ladies truly want to be headturning, jawdropping Divas but lack the drama!  Believe it or not the item missing from your arsenal is a neckpiece.  Notice I said neckpiece and not necklace.  Your mothers graduation necklace given to you after high school won't do.  Too small, too danity and too girly.  You want to evoke power when you walk into a room right?  Then you need a powerful neckpiece!
Every Female Superhero has one, each with its own special power.  No I am not saying you need an incantation to shout out with when doning your Divawear but it does need to appear as though it could come with one.  Remember Isis? Sheena?  Or even Today's top model....part of the transformation for a soon to be model is acquiring a gorgeous neckpiece.  Maybe you are the conservative shy type, and have been that way for most of your life....well lets be honest, you are reading this article because someone inside you wants to come out! 

How do I incorporate a neckpiece into my existing dull wardrobe?  Easy.  First off pick one of those boring neutral tone solid shirts or dresses in your closet. I know you have one cause we all do.  Perhaps you have that staple little black dress in the closet-thats a perfect backdrop for the statement you are about to make.  There are some examples of appropriate neckpieces below (if you would like to get any of these let me know). The top of the dress or shirt should be simple, no ruffles or gathers.  If you have a wide belt for the waist thats brown or black grab that too. Put these on like a suit of armour that protects you from evil and brings out the best in all that behold you!  Now you are ready to hit the road or the runway!
