The winds here are blowing at 50mph

Straight winds are blowing at 50 mph and we're having tornadoes.  I don't know what is going on with this weather.  I've seen wind, but this is three days in a row and tornadoes to boot. We are having fires, wind damage and not looking forward to tornadoes.

Today, we have sustained winds at 37mph.  This is ridiculous.  A town is burning.  When will it stop?

It's windy here. The closed windows are howling like a horror movie. The curtains are blowing like crazy on the open ones. Wooooo -

We are supposed to get the dreaded storms of "historic proportion" today. I'm in anxiety mode.

Wow, our skies performed a light show this morning between 3:30 and 4:30, actually it lasted more than an hour but who's counting, right.

we had quite the experience with tornados last two day,, I think there we over 25 in the last two day in an 100 radius of here....

Yikes, we have been having some nasty winds about that speed here too, but no tornadoes. I hope that it all blows over for you soon. (sorry, I couldn't resist the pun)

The tornadoes are definitely one of the things I DON'T miss about living in Missouri. The winds here are awful, and we do get damage from winds fairly often, but it's nothing like a tornado! Tornadoes do hit up here sometimes, but not very often. I don't think we've even had one in our area since I moved up here 3 years ago.

Windy here in Illinois also, Carol. Storms predicted, but no tornados or hurricanes.

We have had the crazyest weather this spring. It has been raing on and off for a week or so and real high winds no tornados. thank goodness
