Was This a Russian Treat for American Visitors?
I have no business starting an article so late, but I keep chuckling about something I read in one of Barack Obama's books - "Audacity of Hope", I think.
When Obama and Senator Richard Lugar visited Russia, they were served a lunch of borscht, potato soup (I think) and fish Jello. FISH JELLO! Yuck! But then, just think of the possibilities. You could make blue Jello, put in some sort of raggedy lettuce for seaweed, and add sardines as if they were swimming around, and create a nice nautical scene. Maybe you could make a treasure chest and jewels out of some vegetables, too. The only thing wrong would be that the sardines already have their heads cut off.
I'm going to bed. Good night.

I heard a clip of Obama on the radio tonight.... first time, really....WOW! he was impressive.
I hate Jell-O, except for a cherry flavored mold with additional sweet cherries in it.
When I think of the gelatin which comes along with a canned ham, it disgusts me.
Don't know why? Just the thought of it being a meat byproduct, I guess.
So needless to say, fish Jell-O sounds really disgusting!
Thanks for the article.
And a good night for tonight!
PS: How are all your kitties?
I love cats!
Thanks!! JP
