before I flit off to bed... missed the hummingbirds tonight, but not the sunset, as you can no doubt tell.
class (Excel) today went well - better than expected, actually. And got all those tests marked - the ones that made it through the online system anyway... a few got ~lost~ in translation, seems like. Will get those sorted tomorrow.

Writers' roundtable was somewhat stymied by my buddy the security guard with a stick up his butt - wouldn't let us into the room. Ended up meeting outside at a picnic table ... bit of a pain, since it was, at one point, threatening to rain - but it went okay anyway. Will have to sort out another location for it for next week.

Lots of good stuff in today's Writing Essentials - got time? Go read! And comment, of course :)

Looking forward to tomorrow... off all day ... going to get grant proposal stuff sorted and notes done for evening class... and once class is over tomorrow night, am off for 4 days. I can get into that. Got to get started on psyc course! And finish YA novel.... speaking of that, I need a title... Andrea?

Been flitting around... actually went and did a computer house call after my meeting.... still got home at a relatively decent time but tired out... idn't do much in the couple of hours of quiet should get some work done time before I walked up to meet Ross... then we watched The Great Debaters (or something like that... too lazy to go google it
Hope you enjoy your time off and get lots of things done with a satisfied feeling at the end of it all.
Some photos of Jenn's wedding are on facebook FYI David got some of the reception. I got up to see them and now too wide awake to sleep so thought I'd read Gather for a few minutes.
will look tomorrow...I should have gone to bed ages ago ... hadn't checked my Athabasca U stuff since the new course officially started, so went on there and got my tutor letter and emailed her ... hoping she'll let me change the research project to suit me
Our writing groups here try to meet at one of the big bookstores. It's free. They just ask that each person buy a drink. And they love having the writing groups there. Some use the library, but you can't get as excited there. :-)
You live in such a pretty area....I wish we did. I have less than 2 days to get Pher ready and out the door....he's so ready to go...minus the money situation.
Thanks for posting to
