Saturday's book signing was both fun and successful, which is always the result of my visits to the Borders Express at Dulles Town Center. This time I shared the spotlight with Del Walters, whose political thriller "The Race" seemed far-fetched four years ago when he write it, mostly because it features a Black presidential candidate. The book also has twisty conspiracy-based plot reminiscent of the DaVinci Code, except it's all here in the U.S., surrounding Lincoln's assassination.
Not long ago Del was a TV reporter in the DC area, but the call of fiction was too strong for him to resist. When you look for his book on Amazon.com, check for T.D. Walters, his pen name.
