Busy busy busy

The kids were in the pool on and off last evening.  They were having so much fun.  I finished planting my garden and weeding it out a bit.  I tried to tidy up what I could due to never venturing a few feet away from the pool.  At one point I looked up at the clock and was like Oh my goodness....does anyone know what time it is??  It was 8:15pm, way past bathtime...so I rounded the kids up and did bathtime and no more than a few minutes later it was bedtime.  For the first time in a long time they went right to sleep.  I think they were so tired!!!

Then I heard nothing but glorious peace.

always good when you can wear them out enough to sleep - especially if you can pull it off without wearing yourself down in the process :)
That's great Danielle. It's wonderful how romping in the pool tires them out.

Ahhh, that is my favorite sound... Peace and quiet. Sometimes when I come home from dropping the kids off at school, I will call out hello and revel in the fact that no one answers back... at least for a while. Have a great day....

It's a rare occasion if my grandkids go to bed before I do.....I wish they would for some peace time! They are afraid they are going to miss something with grandma Marsha
