She couldn't believe
The time had gone so
Fast, the last twelve months
Had been a Hell, a
Hard-to-get-through space
Without the touch or
Feel of God or His
Fine grace, or so it
Seemed, and she took it
So. She still entered
The baby's chill room,
Untouched, left as it
Was, curtains parted
At dawn as always,
To reveal the cruel
Empty space within,
The cot where baby
Lay, that other time,
Unlike this dim day,
This sinking feeling,
This inner sense of
Dark despair, wanting
Just her baby there.

Amazing, as always...
I can relate to not wanting to visit the pain and that is alright too.
