Don't ask me why I wrote this - I know nothing about poetry, this simply came to me when I saw one of the quotes that Diane D., my gather friend so often posts. It wanted to be written - so here it is!
One of life's lessons - if you push hard enough - the universe will push back:)
Try it again now that you have your first thought out, and see if you can dig a little deeper. It's the beginning, not the end of your thought, I think.
You are so special Rose. These words sound like they came from my heart. You have touched so many by allowing yourself to write freely. And you are a natural. Thank you for sharing your talent. I agree with Sarah...dig deeper and keep writing. I love it!
