I walked up to meet Ross tonight...and then when we got home, we sat outside on the deck...with the camera all set up and focused on the hummingbird feeder.

I love hummingbirds.

I bet you could have guessed that!

Anyway ... until this year, I did not have a camera that was good enough to have a hope of taking my own hummingbird pictures.

So guess what?

Now you get hummingbirds with your beautiful Victoria Harbour sunsets.

Oh... you still want to see the sunset? Oh all right.

you have some great shots there. thanks for sharing. I finally saw one on my feeder on Saturday..It was looking over my impaticent hanging on the hanger by the feeder.

I haven't seen a one this year! Last year we had quite a few but none yet this year. But we've got a cute little woodpecker hanging around and a bigger red-headed one that comes by occasionally. I haven't seen this much color for years. Orioles, Vireos, a real blue bird, cardinals of course and some cute little red and black ones. I have a new camera--I need to get it out.

Really nice photos, and that one photo in particular of the hummingbird showed him so well. Pretty little thing. If we lived on that lake we might never go inside during the summer months. Have you got a cover over your deck? In our heat it makes all the difference. Beautiful photographs, Flit. I enjoyed it.

I've never seen hummingbirds in my yard and lo and behold there was one the other day. They are so cool and fast. Your sunset is gorgeous.

we got off to slow start because of some security guard incompetence ... otherwise about half would be done by now... I see that a couple of them are just finishing up though ... so it will start to thin out in here soon

I can certainly appreciate these pictures of hummers. I know I'm safe from them because they're in Canada.

We had several hummers the other day, before the feeder was up. Now that Kevin has the feeder up, we've had none.

I saw Ina's comment in my feed.... And I thought to myself, "Self... What the hell kind of "hummers" is flit my clit posting?!?!!?"

I know of two things refered to as "hummers" - one is a car... The other is inappropriate.

I see neither of those things here. (Thankfully, I suppose.) But, Ina, you should really watch what you're saying!!!
