I am so addicted to this series on Showtime.  I hated Anne this whole season, but it's hard to watch how so many people are punished just to bring her down.  Will she be killed this episode?  Will King Henry really go after another wife?  I've got to go find out!

I heard before this season started that Anne was going to be killed off this season. I don't watch it now as I don't have showtime and can't see paying for it just to watch this series, as much as I would like to. Caught the first season on directv just befoe the beginning of the second when they were trying to get people to sign up for showtime. Hope it was worth the wait for you!

I haven't seen any of this series, sadly. I don't have Showtime and I forget it runs on PBS too.

I really like Jonathon Rhys Meyers, too.

It's a great episode and also sad! Even though Anne was calculating, she was also used by her family. I liked the flashes of her with her dad and brother when she was a child. She conducted herself with dignity and grace in the face of an awful, certain death. I believe this part is historically correct. The actress grew on me over time--she grew in the role.

Although Henry never looked that good by the time Anne knew him (he was much older, fat and had a leg wound that oozed and stunk), the acting on this show was great. Jonathan Rhys Myers (sp?) was not the strongest actor by a long shot, but he was good to look at.

We started watching a two part Henry VIII on PBS last night. It's from 2004 with Ray Winstone (looking very Henryesque) and Helena Bonham Carter as Anne.
