A Walk Through The Cemetery (Photo Essay)

Well, it was extremely rainy yesterday (all day, too), which kind of sucked, but the day before that my boyfriend and I got the chance to walk down to the cemetery and look at all the gravestones. I am absolutely addicted to cemeteries and gravestones, so it was really a good experience for me.

Here, why don't you come in and I'll show you what I found?

There were a lot of really neat gravestones. I love looking at the different carvings and engravings in them, and it's amazing what the engravers can do.

I thought this one was cute because of the "We'd rather be boating" quote at the bottom. Doesn't that just sum it up perfectly? xD

Out of all the gravestones, though, I think this one was my favorite because of the sweetness and sentiment of the picture.

It was a husband and wife grave, obviously. I'd love to have something like that on my tombstone.

There were also some really beautiful statues around the graves. This one in particular caught my eye.

Some of the graves in the older section were in bad condition. It was really sad to see. Some of them had even begun to sink into the ground.
