Saturday Evening

What did you do this evening? My daughter came over and she, I, and my granddaughter (21 months) went out for ice cream and then shoping at the store. It was a nice time. The weather was so good for ice cream. Now, lots of cleaning tomorrow.

That sounds fun! We mostly took it easy, but then a brief intense hail storm hit so I'm glad we were inside! Oops -- looks like something's coming again. At least I finally got smart and set Firefox on Gather. Just like last week, the first article I posted worked fine with the Camino browser, but the subsequent one was no-go. Time to upgrade something, I guess. Have a nice (calm) night!

I made dinner and cleaned up after. Tried to make a new recipe for a strawberry pie but when my daughter was tryingto process the berries in the blender she made the mistake of shoving them deeper with a wooden spoon. A oiece of the spoon wound up being ground up with the berries. Tried to strain it but pieces of splinter kept getting through. No pie tonight!
