Walgreens had another Friday Only $10 off $30 purchase coupon so I was pretty motivated to go. I had found a couple of things I needed/wanted, but I didn't really think I'd have $30 worth of merchandise. Then my husband reminded me that the "Disaster Prep no tax" incentive was still in place.
I bought:
2 packs-Duracell AA batteries for $8.99 each and used 2 $1.00 coupons
2 packs Bandaids on sale for 2/$5 and used 2 $1.00 coupons
1 tube Neosporin on sale for $4.99 and used a $1.00 coupon
2 Excedrin Migraine 24s on sale for 1.99 each and used 2 $2.00 coupons (ended up being FREE!)
2 bags Chex Party mix on sale for $.99 each and used $1.00 off 2 coupon

I don't understand the Disaster Prep no tax either.
Anything deemed 'emergency preparedness' items were not taxed. I don't know what was on the list exactly but I'm sure there's a list somewhere:)
You got some really good deals.
I am not prepared for a disaster, but am thinking about getting prepared!
