By the time we reached Paihia the road seemed almost empty.
d swirled around the tree tops and whistled through the leaves and branches.
After admiring the space and minimalist decor of our rooms it was time to find a place to have dinner at. The last time we had something to eat that day was in the afternoon, so we were pretty much ready to eat our own hands and feet.
inside. As cliché as it may sound, I have to admit that hunger is the best sauce.

Back at the hotel we drank coffee and watched a horror movie so gross that it was funny.
unreal and strange and then realization kicks in. As usual, I was the first one up.
Rupa and Riyadh, however, took it in very good spirit.

Lovely pictorial. Australia is on my short list of places to visit when my rich uncle gets out of the poorhouse...
Blessings ~

clicking panoramic irresistibles !!
Luna .... pure bliss Australia - the Land Down Under
Beautiful take on each time in worth a write !!!
Thanks for these articles.
Seems we'll have you set some of our Gathering friends straight on which bit of downunder this relates to. I mean, I don't mind them thinking we're Australian if they don't mind us calling them Canadian...
I'm getting jealous.
Hi Pat, you are so right! I think most people feel I will just be talking about Australia because of the title of my column. The phrase "Land Down Under" is probably more commonly used for Australia, but us Kiwis are downunder as well!
Hi Suey, thanks so much for the comment. I will definitely cover parts of Australia in my upcoming articles, this particular trip happened in New Zealand.
Blessings ~
Rene
I feel as though I was traveling beside you the entire way due to your wonderful narrative and images.
This was Brilliant!
